FAQ

How do I get the job?

Simply apply online and we will contact you within days! Our management staff will likely pay a visit to your school during March or April so you can meet us face to face in an informal interview process. The next, and final step, is to come to the beach for a training weekend in May. During your visit, Telescope Pictures® will provide you with a place to stay at no expense to you. The training weekend will give you the hands on experience you need to develop a comfort level with the job. We will provide support and feedback to you during the weekend.

Where will I live if I get the job?

All students hired will have housing available for their use.
Condominium units and/or Beach Houses are reserved for our employees.
If the employees pay a larger initial down payment they will receive the benefit of a reduction in rent owed. After the first down payment the rest of the rent payments will be made over the course of the summer. Housing with us is not mandatory. If an employee pays less than a $1000 down payment, they will need to have a cosigner. Housing Payment Plan

I am interested in the job but also have an internship opportunity. Can I use this job as an internship for college credit?

Internship programs in Marketing, Management, Communications, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Photography, and others are all available through Telescope Pictures®. We’ll work directly with your college to handle all the necessary paperwork, documentation, and feedback required.

How much does this job pay?

Everyone that works with Telescope Pictures® is paid on salary, commission, sales bonuses, and/or season ending performance bonuses. We have jobs that pay from $350 a week all the way up to $1200 a week during peak season! We’ve had students make up to $15,000 their first summer working with us.

When do I start?

Telescope Pictures® will invite you for one of the first three weekends in May, to participate in a "trial weekend" where you actually see and experience the job first hand. We will work around your final exam schedule to pick the best weekend for you. Once your exams are complete, and you accept the position offered, you’ll be ready to start full time. Our season runs until Labor Day weekend. Full time availability through Labor Day weekend is a must. We will, however, allow our staff time to go back to school for registration and the first few days of classes leading up to the Labor Day weekend.
